Are you planning a trip to the beach once it’s safe to travel? Make sure you have everything you need packed in your travel case. To help you pack for your next beach getaway, here is a list of travel essentials you should bring!
Whether you’re going to a local beach spot near you or traveling far, it always pays to be well prepared. Bring a passport and/or any identification card with you, prescribed medication if there’s any and vitamins. If you’re not too familiar with the place you’re visiting, a map, a copy of your itinerary and a list of emergency contacts, should come in handy.
For your beach beauty needs, we can’t forget about sunscreen that will protect the skin from UV radiation. Best to pick a sunscreen that provides strong broad-spectrum protection and is reef-safe. Being exposed to the sun and sea, the hair can get frizzy and sticky, so pack moisturizing shampoo and hair conditioner to treat this.
Pampering the skin after a full day at the beach starts with getting rid of sunscreen, saltwater, sand and sweat. If you are sunburnt, a gentle, hydrating cleanser will do the trick. Afterwards, you can apply aloe vera or a nourishing body lotion/oil.
Every trip has a lot of memorable moments that we want to capture and look back on. You would want to bring a camera preferably waterproof, to take photos and video clips with! To enjoy a leisurely beach day, pack your own beach towel, chair, blanket and maybe a book you’ve been meaning to read. Keep your water in an insulated tumbler, so it stays cool throughout the day. This way you also reduce plastic pollution in the beach.
Some beach accessories that you may want to wear together with your swimsuit, are straw hat, visor, sunglasses, beach sarong, and you’re ready!
