The President of the Philippines has approved the 6-month closure of Boracay Island to make way for its rehabilitation, thereby officially closing the destination to foreign and local visitors for 6 months effective 26 April 2018.
In this light, Discovery Shores Boracay will be closed from 26 April 2018 until further notice. We understand that you, our valued guests, may have concerns regarding bookings already made within the said dates. Please rest assured that our lines are open to offer the best and reasonable solutions for affected bookings.
Most importantly, we are one with the Boracay community and the government to foster sustainable business practices that will maintain Boracay Island to be a world-class destination. We appreciate the kind understanding of our guests, partners, suppliers, and the men and women behind Discovery Shores Boracay during this closure period.
