Time passes by so quickly. This August, Boracay Island is going on its 4th month of island rehabilitation. We definitely miss everyone – our dear friends and guests as well as the rest of the Discovery Shores staff.
For the past couple of months, the Government’s road widening project, beach clean-ups and sewerage system upgrades have been ongoing. On our part, we have been busy working on several new and exciting changes.
For a fresh new look, modern refurbishments are being done in all the guest rooms and restaurant outlets – Sands and Indigo. Our Sand Bar and Front Office reception are undergoing a makeover as well. When we re-open in October, we will be launching our new baby – the Signature Suites. This is our premier wing consisting of 11 rooms and a lively Italian restaurant called Forno Osteria. We will share more about the new changes in the next couple of weeks, so please check our social media accounts for updates.
Do you miss the familiar faces who greet you with a warm smile each time you visit the resort? The Discovery Shores team is doing well. Some of our colleagues have remained in the island to oversee the maintenance, construction and refurbishment projects. While the rest are assigned at our sister properties: Discovery Primea in Makati, Discovery Suites in Ortigas and Club Paradise in Palawan. If you feel like having a glass of our famous Mojito, make sure to drop by the Lounge at 22 Prime, Discovery Suites. Gelo, our bartender will be there to whip up a glass or two.
Before we forget, our favorite furry and cuddly friend, Bogart the Beach Bear sends his love and is excited to see everyone very soon!
