Forno Osteria, which literally means “oven” for “forno” and “Italian restaurant serving wine and good food” for “osteria,” specializes in freshly baked pizzas and grilled steaks. Aptly so, the restaurant’s focal point features these two industrial ovens – a pizza brick oven and a Josper grill.

The Josper grill, which originated in Barcelona in 1969, features a perfect marriage between innovation and technology, successfully combining the functions of a grill and an oven; namely, the age-old art of grilling over charcoal and the conveniences of controlled cooking temperatures of an oven.

As the only restaurant on the island with a Josper oven, our steaks are grilled to perfection. The closed-door cooking traps flavor and moisture, while the charcoal adds a rich smokiness. Reaching temperatures of 350°C, the Josper grill marks the meat beautifully—every steak lover’s dream!
